MyTravel has appointed Ambergreen to a 12 month contract to help increase the market share held by its 25 online brands as well as meeting the rising demand for travel information by people researching holidays.

MyTravel will use search marketing to meet and support the shift in customer demand, with the aim of converting the vast market of ‘researchers’ into customers.

Tino Nombo, Ambergreen’s managing director, said: “Even if you don’t book your holiday online, it is likely that you will research your holiday online. This means there is a massive market, looking for information about destinations, that a company like MyTravel can attract to its various sites and then work to convert to customers.”

Ambergreen will develop a 12 month search optimisation campaign using specialist natural search techniques for five of MyTravel’s online brands: mytravel.com, goingplaces.co.uk, airtours.co.uk, thecruisestore.co.uk, directholidays.co.uk.

The aim of the campaign is to increase brand awareness and raise the visibility of all sites across the web.
