The Chip Shop Awards are back. And this year, it is set to become part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The awards ceremony will take place at Underbelly, in Edinburgh, on Thursday, 25 August. Supported by Archive, the definitive showcase for ads and posters worldwide, the competition is sponsored by Robert Horne and Team Impression.
The design team at Manchester-based Funnel Creative has produced the new branding and literature for the show.
Funnel’s creative director, Daren Newman commented: \"We took inspiration from traditional Chip Shop signage and, with a helping hand from typographic artist Tim Isherwood and his endless stock of signage photography, the logotype was drawn up and left in its original form.\"
