Brittany Ferries has returned to TV after over ten years away from the medium as part of a £4m marketing campaign. Bournemouth-based The Walker Agency is responsible for the activity, which is appearing on ITV in the Meridian area.

The campaign aims to reaffirm Brittany’s position as the leading ferry operator across the Western Channel by highlighting the miles of driving time that travellers can save and the new high-speed services on the Portsmouth-Caen and Portsmouth-Cherbourg routes.

Commenting on the push, The Walker Agency’s managing director, Martin Walker, said: \"TV should be the ideal medium to demonstrate the mile saving message.\"

Production of the ads was handled by Silver, while BLM Chilverd was responsible for media buying.
