The Scottish Executive has appointed The Leith Agency to create a campaign to support its proposed ban on smoking in public place.

The bill is currently before the Scottish Parliament, but is expected to become law during the Summer, that is as long as it received Royal Assent.

The Leith Agency will now devise a public information campaign to ensure that the public are fully aware of the new law and abide by it.

The eight agencies on the Scottish Executives advertising roster, The Union, Barkers, Family, Newhaven, Citigate Smarts, 1576, The Bridge contested the pitch for the business.
