Family has been appointed by Superfast Ferries to handle the company’s advertising for its North Sea service.

The Superfast service is the only direct ferry link between Scotland and continental Europe, with a daily sailing between Rosyth and Zeebrugge.

Family has already started work on the Superfast account, and is developing plans to support the ferry company’s sales efforts.

Ian Wright, managing director at Family, who has recently returned from initial meetings in Athens, said that he was delighted to be working with the Superfast team: “Superfast provide an excellent service and is totally unlike traditional cross channel ferries. The ships are more like cruise ships, however they offer affordable fares for every budget in a range of accommodation.”

Meanwhile Family has developed a TV campaign for Redress, a new personal injury practice, launched through law firm Thompsons Scotland. Set to thought-provoking music, the commercial consists of a series of everyday, yet beautiful images of scenes where accidents have occurred.

Thompsons Scotland is the largest specialist claimant personal injury practice in Scotland. Following research, the firm recognised that many people who have had an accident, which has not been their fault, simply want an acknowledgement that the accident has occurred. And while there are still people who are seeking solely financial compensation, most see the money as simply a symbol of a wrong having been put right, the balance being redressed.
