Nine Glasgow primary schools competed in an advertising competition last week, as part of the Determined To Succeed initiative, to create a poster promoting an aspect of healthy living. The nine groups were guided by members of the industry from agencies such as The Leith, FrameC, Coltas, Barkers and Campbell & Russell and pitched their poster ideas last week at Holyrood Secondary School. The winning poster was created by St Francis’ Primary School, which had been under the guiding hand of The Leith’s Gerry Farrell. The competition was sponsored by Forrest Outdoor Media, which gave the winning school £250 and is now running the poster on its city screen site in Glasgow city centre.
