Clear Channel has launched the first ever interactive infra-red poster campaign on Adshel sites throughout the UK.

The campaign, for publishing group Pan Macmillan, promotes the new children’s book title Teen Idol, and invites passers by to activate the infra-red function on their mobile phones and point them at the poster. Technology within the modified posters then transmits the phone details to Pan Macmillan, where they are entered into a prize draw for several prizes.

The interactive campaign, which is aimed at 10-14 year olds, is currently running at a number of locations throughout the UK, including Newcastle and Renfrew.
