The MPA Student Roses Creativity Awards 2005 has been launched. The poster calling for entries has been created by Like a River, who are helping to develop the competition, and uses a thorny rose stem as a metaphor for the tough competition the students face.

Rob Taylor of Like a River said: \"The main thing is that we’ve been able to get eight or so briefs in from agencies, with a commitment from each to award a work placement – they’re the real prizes.\"

This year will also see Archive magazine taking part in the event, working with Adline to get students exposure to creative professionals.
