McCann PR are in the driving seat

McCann Erickson Public Relations has scooped the PR account for fleet management company Arval.

McCanns won the account after a four-way pitch, undertaken as part of a full review of the company’s marketing agencies. The agency is now tasked with increasing awareness of the Arval brand among the business community through a programme of national press activity and other appropriate media. The account will be handled by the Birmingham-based business-to-business team.

Robert Pieczka, marketing director at Arval, said: \"Arval is one of the most respected brands within the fleet management and fuel card industries. The UK fleet industry, as a whole, currently faces several key issues, including higher car taxation, a reduction in company car fleets and rising fuel prices.

\"Our brief to McCann Erickson is to make Arval’s a strong voice in the ongoing wider transportation debate.\"
