Tributes are flooding in for Ken Gosling, managing director of Radford Advertising in Manchester, who sadly passed away on Thursday 26 August.

Ken was a highly respected member of the Manchester media scene for many years and died peacefully after a brief illness.

According to friends and colleagues, Ken was one of the most genuine, popular and affable members of the northern advertising industry. He was the immediate past chairman of the First Friday Club, a role he carried out with his usual commitment and humour, and he will be much missed by his family, colleagues and peers.

Ken began his career on the clientside and then moved onto the agency side of the business with BDH and Saatchis before joining Radfords in 1994.

Our thoughts are with Ken’s wife Gillian, his daughters Helen and Clare and his grandchildren Thomas, James and Brooke.

A memorial service will be held for Ken in September, details will appear here once confirmed.
