Limone Media in Glasgow has broken new ground with the creation of its first advertisement for television broadcast, based upon an original online creative for client Conveyancing Direct.

Reversing the typical marketing process – of new media content being developed from a traditional print or broadcast advertising creative – Limone has transferred its digital campaign into a high-quality execution within an “old media” context.

Conveyancing Direct initially approached Limone’s sister company, new media agency MMI, to create its company website, which was developed using an “animated house” creative earlier in 2004. The client – a Scotland-based online service handling all aspects of buying and selling homes – then commissioned Limone to produce animation for the television campaign. The new execution will be screened on Grampian TV from the end of this month, followed by Border TV and Channel 4.

Gerry McCusker of Limone said: “We’ve delivered a high quality product, and I think in the future we will see a lot more synergy between old and new advertising agencies, with the very latest technology being exploited for the client’s gain.”
