Stuart Cosgrove, the director of Nations and Regions at Channel 4, has been brought on board as a creative consultant with marketing agency Talented.

The appointment has been heralded by the agency as a “strategic coup.”

As a BT Scotland non-executive director and the manager of the strategic and corporate direction of Channel 4’s performance outside of London - as well as being the co-presenter of Radio Scotland’s sports programme Off The Ball - Cosgrove will bring a great deal of experience and visibility to the Edinburgh-based agency.

Talented managing director Ian Dommett said of the appointment: “We’re absolutely delighted that Stuart will be working as a creative partner with talented. He will bring a new dimension to our ‘original thinking’ model and his insight will help revolutionise how we creatively interact with our clients. Having Stuart on board on a project basis will significantly impact our client growth and how we approach the market.”

New appointment comes after the agency recently struck a deal in Northern Ireland through a collaborative marketing agreement with renowned Belfast media agency DCL.
