Weber Shandwick Glasgow has won the PR account for the proposed Glasgow Airport Rail Link scheme.

The new proposed link will provide a direct rail service from Glasgow city centre to Glasgow Airport, and would provide services four times every hour. Weber Shandwick will be working with Strathclyde Passenger Transport to raise the profile of the scheme and generate support amongst stakeholders, politicians and the general public.

The Glasgow Airport Rail Link appointment is one of several new pieces of business won by Weber Shandwick’s Glasgow operation. The company has also been tasked with creating a marketing campaign for the Eurocentral Business Park, generating interest amongst the SME business sector for a new environmental website named NetRegs and conducting a media awareness campaign for fitness equipment supplier Powerhouse.
