The Union has resigned its Whyte & Mackay business, according to an official statement from the agency itself.

The company has worked on several Whyte & Mackay brands, including Vladivar vodka, for which the agency created the acclaimed Har Mar Superstar campaign.

Explaining the resignation Union managing director Ian McAteer said: “I know agencies aren’t supposed to resign client business. We did have an excellent relationship with the team at Whyte & Mackay, and out of that came some outstanding work, which has also produced great business results, especially on Vladivar, but also on Jura. However things change, and sometimes I feel an agency owes it to its own people to withdraw and move on. I’m confident the Vladivar campaign will stand the test of time. We’re proud of our work and wish Whyte & Mackay and their team all the best in the future. As you might expect, we are currently exploring a number of other options in the same sector.”
