Following its twentieth anniversary in April this year, Business Insider has announced plans to redesign the magazine to include more guest columnists and content within the magazine.

According to editor-in-chief John Penman, the magazine has undergone a radical redesign by in-house designer Rhonda Jamieson and former Business a.m. chief design editor Mike Gill. The new-look magazine will contain new writers, including business writer Ian Ritchie, former spin-doctor and political writer Peter McMann and more from editor Alisdair Northrup.

Commenting on the redesign, Penman said that the changes are intended to encourage new readers to the publication: “We wanted to introduce new elements to our readers and give the magazine a sharper edge.

“While we remain a subscription-based magazine, I will also try to up the presence of the magazine by getting it on to more news stands and increasing its profile with both existing and potential readers.”
