Brown-Forman Corporation has concluded the extensive review of its UK through-the-line account for its Jack Daniel\'s Tennessee Whiskey brand by retaining Bath-based agency, thehouse. The decision was made after hearing proposals from five undisclosed agencies.

thehouse has worked with the Louisville, Kentucky-based firm for six years, working on a number of extensive campaigns. The agency\'s latest project was the \'Mr Jack\'s Birthday Celebrations\' campaign, which runs every September and involves web, teaser and promotional advertising, on and off trade consumer promotions and trade communications programmes.

Commenting on the appointment, Sophia Angelis, marketing manager at Brown-Forman, said: \"I am thrilled that this relationship will continue and that thehouse remains a hugely important part of the team.\"

thehouse also handles the company\'s duty free programmes, consumer activity for the Republic of Ireland and promotions for the global brand team at the US head office. Managing director of the agency, Graham Massey, enthused: \"We are delighted to have been re-appointed to work with the Jack Daniel\'s brand. Anyone who knows this agency understands how important we view our relationship with Brown-Forman and the brand success we have helped to deliver.\"
