Following a five way credentials pitch and subsequent two-way creative pitch, AGCO has appointed Solihull-based HTDL to handle its above- and below-the-line European advertising.

HTDL fended off stiff competition from another Midlands agency in the final creative presentation.

The first phase of the work is due to start imminently with a powerful Massey Ferguson brand-based campaign in the farming press along with targeted direct mail.

“This is a significant win for HTDL, and follows four smaller successive account gains. We did our research, proposed some very strong creative solutions and ticked all the boxes on the brief,” said Andrew Thornley, creative and managing director.

Commenting on the win, Maxine Hessairi, general advertising and sales promotions manager for AGCO added: “We were extremely impressed with HTDL’s capability of tuning in to the brief’s exact requirements. Their creative visuals portrayed the high standard that is commanded by the Massey Ferguson brand.”
