SNBTS picks advertising partners

Following an extensive pitching process Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service has appointed a new advertising agency to handle its account.

The Transfusion Service has awarded its advertising & media buying tender to The Bridge & MediaCom respectively.

Dr Moira Carter, national donor services manager, SNBTS, said of the appointment: “The next three to five years will represent a significant marketing challenge for SNBTS. 100,000 new blood donors must be recruited within the next 12 months to maintain blood supplies in Scotland. The Bridge demonstrated inherent understanding of these issues through their health and social marketing experience, while MediaCom provided powerful media analysis and insightful recommendations. We are delighted to welcome both to the team.”
