Equator gets sara lee’s knickers in a twist with Aristoc website win

Equator has been awarded the website design and development contract for Aristoc, a high-street underwear brand that is part of the Sara Lee corporation.

The “significant five-figure” win covers design, development and an online marketing strategy.

John McLeish, MD at Equator, said: “This is a great win for the company. It confirms that Equator has what it takes to operate in the ‘premium brand’ arena and adds another blue chip to our list of already impressive clients.”

Meanwhile, Caledonian University has also appointed Equator to facilitate the design and development of an e-learning environment for its Social Services Faculty, another five-figure win for the company.

The project will be called “Clydetown”, which is a virtual town containing multiple social scenarios. The “real life” environment will allow different courses within the faculty to experience first hand the various scenarios that people are faced with. The tool aims to prepare students for the real world.
