Leeds based PWLC has denied that the £5m Sky Bet account has been put out to pitch.

The agency, which was appointed to the account in October of last year, alongside new media agency DS Emotion, has informed Adline that the reported pitch is actually taking place for a chunk of BSkyB work.

Last a London trade press title ran the story claiming that Mother, HHCL/Red Cell and Farm had been invited to contest for the business. However, according to Mike Phillipson from PWLC, the agencies have actually been approached with regard to a project aimed at getting more viewers to use the red, interactive button on their remote control. Furthermore Phillipson also revealed that PWLC has been invited to pitch for the work too, justifying their inclusion with the observation; \"we are perceived to have done a good job on the Harrogate based Sky Bet account since we were appointed.\" He added, \"we have just signed a contract with Sky Bet that runs through to end of the year.\"
