The start of the new year has brought about new premises for the Adline team – previously based in Newhall Street, the Birmingham operation has made the move across town to the Custard Factory in Gibb Street, Digbeth – one of the city’s most innovative creative centres. With a strong design and media presence, the new office puts Adline amongst some of the most promising and exciting creative talent the region has to offer.

Meanwhile, Adline’s Manchester office has moved to The Department Store in the city’s vibrant Northern Quarter, the home of The LMDI. Editor Alan Johnstone will work out of the new Manchester base. The moves signify Adline’s commitment to two of the major focal points of the UK marketing and media scene.

Speaking about the re-locations, Carnyx Group founder and Adline publisher Gordon Young commented: “The fact that we have two bases serving both the North and the Midlands shows that Adline is very much a national magazine in the true sense of the word.

“Some of our counterparts in the London regionals still think the UK ends at the Watford Gap.”

With 2004 in full swing, campaigning body The Marketeer Association is back and now boasts its strongest line-up yet. There are now 14 of the North’s most accomplished and exciting agencies fully committed and on board, including the likes of BJL, BDH\\TBWA and Like a River. Any agencies wanting to become a member of The Marketeer Association and play an active part in the development of the industry, please call Emma Lawson on 0141-352 4676.
