Cicero buys Hyde Burnett

Manchester based full service agency Cicero has acquired Stockport\'s Hyde Burnett in a deal that will see the consolidated agency swell it\'s ranks to 44 staff, boasting a turnover in the region of £6m.

Management and staff at Hyde Burnett will relocate to Cicero‚s offices in Exchange Quay and operate as Cicero Marketing and Communications‚. The acquisition is said to be part of Cicero\'s \"determination to create a full marketing services business that has the knowledge, skills and resource capable of providing a continued level of service to clients.\"

John Gatcliffe, Cicero\'s chairman, commented: \"Hyde Burnett has excellent people whose skills will add value to the current Cicero offering. Going forward the agency can offer an integrated service of traditional creative and advertising services as well as international public relations, multi-media and direct marketing.\"
