David Reid and Adrian Jeffery, the directors of 1576, have been reunited with the 20 20 optician’s account, business which is worth an estimated £250,000.

Reid, who officially takes over as 1576 MD when former MD Mark Gorman leaves next week, and creative boss Adrian Jeffery worked on the account as freelancers 15 years ago. The business was handled until recently by The Leith Agency, but was resigned after the agency picked up Optical Express.

Reid said: “We've been courted by a couple of optical chains in recent months, but in our heart of hearts we always wanted to work for John Hendry, 20 20's owner and founder, again. He cares passionately about his business, loves buying strong creative and is just a really great bloke to deal with.”

20 20 MD John Hendry added: “We’ve worked with a few agencies over the years, some big, some small. None of the creative work has been as hard-working as the stuff created by David and Adrian and I'm delighted that they are part of the team once more.”
