Options, the low calorie hot chocolate drink, has awarded Leith London its £2m creative account, following a two-way pitch as the brand looks to return to television screens.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch against Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.

Leith London’s appointment comes after the acquisition last year of the Novartis brands Options and Ovaltine by Associated British Foods. RKCR/Y&R was previously responsible for the account, although Options has seen very little advertising for the last two years.

A new campaign is thought to be in development to encompass full above-the-line activity, including television.
