Manchester agencies And Partners and Weber Shandwick have been hired by Pan World Brands to handle the advertising and PR briefs, respectively, for CAT clothing’s 2004 collection.

Pan, which holds the global brand licence for CAT apparel, is also Manchester based and is looking to the neighbouring firms to drive a fully integrated worldwide campaign that reflects the brands confident, urban appeal.

Mike Basso, Pan World Brands’ chairman, said of his ambitions over the coming year, \"we have some fantastic plans for the brand. We are aiming to grow CAT apparel to similar levels as the already established and extremely successful CAT Footwear range.\"

And Partner’s Andrew Alty explained, \"we are working very closely with the US based brand owner’s global licensing team and CAT Footwear’s global agencies to produce a campaign that gains the respect of our very image conscious target audience.\" Weber Shandwick is currently devising a consumer PR programme to support Pan’s distribution in the Middle East, Europe, the Far East and the Pacific Rim.
