Feather Brooksbank has picked up the media account for Zoom, the airline launched by Scottish entrepreneurs Hugh and John Boyle. The agency has already begun work on a launch campaign for Zoom’s new flights from Glasgow and Gatwick to Canada, which kick off next year.

Zoom was launched last May and flies from a number of Canadian cities to destinations in the Caribbean, America and Europe. The company is based in Ottawa, Canada, where Hugh resides, but the UK side of the business is handled by brother John through his Hamilton Portfolio Company in Glasgow.

Feather Brooksbank is currently at work planning a TV campaign, which is in the final stages of approval at the time of going to press.

Director Stuart Feather said: “At the moment we don’t have a budget. We have a launch campaign and we are discussing the implications of business next year. It could be in the thousands or the hundreds of thousands.”

There is currently an outdoor campaign running for Zoom, which was booked through The Media Shop prior to Feather Brooksbank’s appointment. It is believed that creative for the campaign is being developed in-house.
