The Sheffield Galleries and Museum Trust is looking to rebrand, following its appointment of Iris after a four-way credentials pitch.

The Trust, which is responsible for all the city’s main museums and galleries, currently operates under a single brand umbrella with the individual institutions feeding off it – a device created by Scope. Iris is now being briefed on how the body wants to move forward and work will start early this month.

Iris’s David Wood said: “It should be an interesting project to tackle. The body targets a diverse audience, from high end art lovers to families looking for a day out, so creatively it’ll be a good challenge for us.”

Wood also revealed that Andrea Brennan, previously Walker Pinfold’s project manager, was joining Iris as operations manager.
