GlynnWebb, the UK\'s largest independent DIY chain, is set to return to TV this September with a seven week campaign devised by Manchester\'s BCMB.

The activity, which will be supported by press campaigns, is said to be unique to the market as it works to promote its supplier\'s brands as well as its own. In doing so it concentrates on several household name wallpaper, paint and DIY accessory products such as Crown, No More Nails, Solvite and Johnstones.

Commenting on the campaign GlynWebb\'s chief executive George Marcall said, \"We are breaking new ground by using a major initiative to boost the sales and brand profile of some of our leading suppliers, while doing the same for GlynWebb. We did something similar on a smaller scale in Spring when we featured four wallpaper manufacturers in TV ads. The campaign worked so well that our autumn activity is even more ambitious.\"

The 10-second ads feature the DIY chain\'s new logo and tagline \'the home for bargains\' and will run across ITV North, GMTV North and Channel 5 North.
