Rugby League side charge agency to help find ground sponsor

Viv\'id creative communications is launching a sponsorship and marketing strategy for Rugby League side Warrington Wolves. The deal requires the agency to find a suitable sponsor for the club\'s £12 million stadium.

Viv\'id plan to market the 14,000 capacity stadium both as a sporting venue and a 450-head conference and banqueting facility. \"We are thrilled to be promoting Warrington\'s biggest and newest venue and excited by the potential offered by Warrington Wolves to sponsors, supporters, the local community and corporate businesses,\" said Viv\'id\'s communications director, Rachel Morgan.

The agency commented that the opportunity would perhaps be suitable for a supermarket wanting to cement its brand in the minds of the supporters who visit the sports venue.
