118 118 looks to revamp website presence

New directory assistance provider, The Number 118 118, has appointed branding and communications agency Dutton Merrifield to create a new website. The agency was appointed by The Number UK earlier this year, and has already worked on a staff handbook, the company’s corporate communications programme and exhibition materials.

Dutton Merrifield is tasked with creating a dynamic and interactive website with more brand personality. David Merrifield, MD of the agency said: “With the recent deregulation of 192 Directory Enquiry services, the competitive landscape is set to alter and already a range of competing services has started to materialise. In these conditions, The Number’s brand will be instrumental in attracting customers and ensuring long-term loyalty to the service.”
