WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland has been appointed by the Scottish Rugby Union to create the direct mail campaign to help promote the Rugby World Cup Countdown Matches at Murrayfield - Scotland v Italy on Sat 23rd August and Scotland v Ireland on Sat 6th September.

The latest promotional campaign for Scottish Rugby will give supporters the opportunity to send their own good luck message to the Scotland Rugby World Cup squad.

The games are a chance to come and give the players a great send off at the last two matches to be played in Scotland before the Rugby World Cup squad departs for Australia.

The theme used in the creative is ‘be part of it’. The pack contains a cardboard boomerang which supporters can keep to remind them of the task that lies ahead in Australia. There is also a prize draw with the opportunity to win a trip for two to the Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Marco Scognamiglio, Managing Director, WWAV Scotland: “We thought this was a great opportunity to let supporters have their say. The SRU is an exciting business win for us and we couldn’t have chosen a better time to get involved than in the Countdown to the Rugby World Cup.”
