Carnegie Worldwide, the Edinburgh-based sponsorship and PR consultancy, has undergone a management buy-out from parent company Charlotte Ventures – part of the Murray Group.

THE MBO has been led by Carnegie client services director Fife Hyland, who takes an 80% stake in the new consultancy.

Carnegie’s six-strong team will remain in the current offices as it moves away from the corporate hospitality sector to concentrate on the core sponsorship and PR offering.

Hyland, who has taken up the position of managing director following the MBO, said: “The Carnegie team is established and respected in the UK and I am delighted about concluding this deal and very excited about the future.”
