High-street retail giant Marks & Spencer has appointed Leeds-based Bartuf Systems to design, manufacture and install a specialist magazine display system for 50 stores nationwide.

The contract, worth more than £100,000, was handed to Bartuf after a competitive pitch process and the new magazine system will be installed in the Food To Go sections of M&S stores.

Designers from Bartuf will now visit M&S stores across the UK to give advice on where the display system should sit within each Food To Go area and also on installation. Staff from magazine distributor John Menzies will then instruct M&S staff on how to merchandise the area and manage the news and magazine category.

Gail Workman, of Marks & Spencer, said: “Bartuf managed to exceed my expectations. The company’s proactive approach to customer service and technology makes them a pleasure to work with.”
