Tayburn wins furniture account

Tayburn has announced that it has been re-appointed by Thomsons World of Furniture to handle both its marketing and advertising account.

The Edinburgh-based agency previously worked with Thomsons for four years, prior to the partnership ending in 2001. The win sees Tayburn currently working on both radio and local and national press adverts, with television ads due to be released later in the year. The media buying end of the business will remain with Spirit Media Scotland.

Commenting on the win, director Jon Stevenson said: “It’s always pleasing when a client comes back and we are delighted to have Thomsons on board again. We are confident we can help them achieve their marketing objectives in the coming months.”

MD of Thomsons Allan Caldwell added: “We went back to Tayburn because of their creativity and their understanding of our business and the furniture industry.”
