Ian Spinney, former head of corporate and B2B PR at Weber Shandwick, has launched a new consultancy, Spinney & Partners.

Having left Weber Shandwick at the end of April, Spinney already has two clients on the books, Blyth and Blyth Consulting Engineers and Braehead For Business.

Spinney said: "There is no shortage of PR consultants per se, but there is a lack of senior consultants with the experience to advise clients on issues that can present a real threat or opportunity to their business. By linking with senior specialists in key areas, Spinney & Partners will be able to provide seasoned advice, and more, at competitive rates."

Spinney & Partners has links with other independent PR practitioners, design and advertising agencies and with a leading networked public relations consultancy.
