John Rowley has dismissed talk of a Leith take-over by WPP’s JWT once and for all.

Rowley admits that talks with the London giants were in place, but a deal was not agreed and “the process is not progressing”.

However, Rowley says that although the Leith is not up for sale, a number of options still exist, which include a future MBO.

Rowley refused to rule out the possibility of an MBO led by him and the three other executive directors when John Denholm decides to retire.
