Napolina, the leading brand in authentic Italian food ingredients, has appointed a new marketing manager, who will look to introduce a number of new products to the company’s portfolio.

Dean Towey joins the Liverpool-based company from Nichols Foods, where for the last three years he has filled the position of brand manager for hot drinks. This role included overseeing the successful Masterfoods licensed Galaxy and Maltesers hot chocolate drinks.

Speaking of the move, Towey said: “Napolina has enormous potential for development and benefits greatly from the support of the Princes Group.

“I will be responsible for the strategic direction of the brand and one of my first priorities is to encourage growth by improving distribution of the full range in the retail and food service markets.”

Napolina produces a range of ingredients including pasta, sauces and olive oils.
