New chair for CIM Scotland

Tricia Fox, a Perth-based business woman, has been appointed as chairman of the Scottish board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Fox, who heads up her own marketing consultancy in Perth, called Thunder Communications, is a graduate of Strathclyde University and a founder of the self-employed networking group Bacon, Egg & Entrepreneurs.

CIM Scotland is going to be focussing its efforts on delivering two things to members this year - continuous professional development events and continuing to the raise the profile of marketing amongst key stakeholders.
