The Scottish PR Awards, organised by The Drum in conjunction with the IPR Scotland and sponsored by Kall Kwik and The Radisson SAS, were officially launched at a special IPR Scotland event held last week.

As a consequence of the outstanding level of support for the awards in their inaugural year, this year’s ceremony will be an evening event that will not only incorporate the awards, but will also allow Scotland’s vibrant PR community to spend the night socialising at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow on 13 June.

Categories this year aim to reflect the broad base of PR work being carried out in Scotland, and include Best In-house Team, Best Large & Small Consultancy, Best Independent Practitioner, Best Consumer Campaign, Best B2B Campaign, Best Crisis Management and Best New Start.

Also, the awards will incorporate the Hamp Hamilton Award, which aims to honour the best communicator under the age of 30.

The deadline for entries is 7 March, and the entry form can be downloaded from the Scottish regional section of the IPR’s website at www.ipr.org.uk.
