Highland Spring has appointed ScottishPower’s former head of consumer marketing as its new marketing director.

Sally Stanley will take on responsibility for Highland Spring’s £5m marketing budget across its key brands, Highland Spring, Looney Tunes Water and Gleneagles Natural Mineral Water.

The Highland Spring account is currently held by Merle, which picked the business up from McCann-Erickson earlier this year. A review of the advertising account is not expected in the near future.

At ScottishPower Stanley was responsible for the UK marketing strategy for the ScottishPower and Manweb energy brands. Prior to that, she was at McCann-Erickson Scotland, the Scottish Milk Marketing Board, Scottish Development Agency, STV and Nabisco Brands.
