CitigateSMARTS, the Edinburgh-based integrated agency, has won the public relations account for spirits company Kyndal.

Harrison Cowley and Atlantic PR had also pitched for the business. The PR division of the company will now handle the corporate brief which will see them focusing on business trade and consumer groups.

Flora Martin, joint managing director of CitigateSMARTS, commented: "We were invited to pitch for the business after building a strong relationship with Invergordon Distillers, the previous incarnation of Kyndal's private label business. We are looking forward to the challenge of helping to build on Kyndal's reputation with a global audience."
