More than 900 entries to this year's Roses Advertising Awards were closely scrutinised last week at the two-day judging session held at the Tate Gallery at Liverpool's Albert Dock. This year's judging panel was chaired by Guy Moore of Malcolm Moore Deakin (front centre) and also included, from left, Ray Barratt of Barratt Cernis, Peter Gausis of Abbot Mead Vickers, Mike Redpath of AKQA, Lee Hanson of Mustoe Merriman Levy, Richard Draycott of The Drum, Matthew and Simon Welch of Duckworth Finn Grub Waters and Mark Cooper of Ogilvy & Mather. The gala awards ceremony will take place at Manchester's Palace Hotel on 2 May. Nominations page 10.
