The Press Association has appointed Edinburgh-based design consultancy PRM to handle its branding and corporate communications work after the agency beat a number of London consultancies.

PRM has also picked up work from Damov and WL Gore.

PRM director Peter McGrail said: "Only eleven weeks into the year and we have already made our new business target for 2002. It is a credit to our team."
