Liverpool's Creative Kitchen 'Developer Breakfast' returns February 18 2015

The Creative Kitchen, the creative and digital collaboration, led by digital agency Studio Mashbo, starts its 2015 programme with the return of their successful Developer Breakfast event on Wednesday 18 February.

The event will be held at the independently-owned 92 Degrees Coffee on Hardman Street in Liverpool's city centre.

The concept behind the Creative Kitchen is to encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration between the region's creative and digital sectors. Creative Kitchen aims to support the growth of the local economy by hosting events in independent local venues; previous events have been hosted at Oh Me Oh My and Bretta & Co. The next event follows in that tradition with the selection of 92 Degrees Coffee, which is run by creative agency Draw & Code.

The Developer Breakfast is aimed at those working in all aspects of digital: from web, software, mobile, gaming and strategy. The format is informal to create a comfortable environment to create conversation and an arena to build a local support network within the region's developer community.

Creative Kitchen curator, Studio Mashbo co-founder Gavin Sherratt, said: “The Creative Kitchen grew out of our regular smaller developer breakfast to get the creative and digital sector a hub during last year's International Festival for Business (IFB) with support of the Kin 2 Kin network. From this we are starting to see lots of new relationships being fostered, hooking agencies together and bringing freelancers into contact with potential collaborations. We're creating a place where like-minded developers and digital professionals feel comfortable to meet and share stories of success or to ask ask for help and support.”

The Creative Kitchen Developer Breakfast starts at 8:30 am until 10am at 92 Degrees Coffee, 24 Hardman Street, Liverpool L1 9AX and you can register here.
