We are looking for an account manager to join one of our energy teams within our Aberdeen office. At account manager level, you will already be a seasoned media operator, ideally with experience of working on client projects in-house or within an agency environment. You will be required to deliver UK and international campaigns, which means a passion for achieving results is essential. You will work under an account director and as part of a team developing and implementing dynamic campaigns on behalf of a stable of oil and gas sector clients. As a result of this, a new team of PR, Communications and Events has been created. The full team will have 8 staff, drawn from existing staff and new appointments. We are currently recruiting to 3 senior posts in the team - this post, Head of PR, Communications & Events, and Conference & Events Manager. This role has a dual focus. You will be supporting the Head of PR, Communications & Events in increasing awareness of the Business School and its activities, shaping its reputation and influencing key local, regional and international stakeholders. You will also have primary responsibility for managing and delivering effective internal communications within the School. You will have experience of both PR and communications, the ability to spot opportunities and think creatively, and excellent interpersonal skills in order to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
