Sales Account Manager - Leading Gaming Distributor
Field Based (covering the UK)
£32,000 Plus Annual Sales Bonus, Company Car

Are you a field sales professional with knowledge of the FMCG sector seeking a highly rewarding challenge with a market-leader boasting global ties? If so, this is a unique opportunity to advance your career and work with some of the most sought-after products and biggest names in the industry.

Our client is a long-standing, family-owned video game accessory distributor with strong ties and licensing agreements with many of the largest brands in gaming. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Account Manager to join their team.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will take responsibility for the management of a portfolio of accounts operating within the national retail market across the UK. You will focus on their ongoing satisfaction and continued business development with the aim of driving revenue growth and identifying growth opportunities for the portfolio.

Proactively managing your portfolio, you will plan and attend regular update meetings and resolve any queries that your accounts may have. You will liaise with other internal departments to ensure that commitments are met within specified timeframes and seek to manage both internal and external expectations.

You will develop strong working relationships with customers and play a significant role in the selection of new business partners and internal and external marketing communications.

As part of your role, you will be expected to attend our client's offices in Blackburn for meetings and product-related activities.

Your other duties will include:

- Managing and organising attendance at relevant trade shows and events to aid lead generation
- Forecasting product requirements for specific accounts
- Seeking opportunities to cross-sell
- Undertaking market research
- Maintaining an awareness of competitor activity

To be considered, you must have:

- B2B field sales experience
- Knowledge of the FMCG market and associated selling techniques
- A valid driving licence

As a Sales Account Manager, you must be a creative thinker with the tenacity and drive to succeed. Focused and target-oriented, you must also have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A good understanding of technology, specifically the video game and media industry would be beneficial to your application.

Please note, candidates must live within a commutable distance of Blackburn, or be willing to relocate.
