Job Description

Front End Developer required to join specialist retail software and IT services business. Due to continued growth they have a vacancy for a Front End Web Developer.

Working as part of the development team you will be responsible for developing and supporting their ever-expanding range of e-commerce solutions. You will need to maintain a high level of responsive service to their customers requirements at all times and ensure that planned projects are delivered on time to the highest standards.

Your experience

- Excellent understanding of CSS(3), HTML(5)
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as jQuery, AngularJS
- Excellent understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device functionality
- Detailed understanding of web accessibility
- Experience with Mobile Development
- Experience of responsive design implementation
- Experience in template drive websites
- Experience in the use of version control tools such as Subversion, Git or Mercurial

Your skills and capabilities

You will clearly need to be IT literate and they will also be looking for:

- 'A' Levels, including A or B grades in Maths and English
- A can do attitude with a commitment to resolving problems and finishing tasks
- The ability to organise your time effectively and to prioritise your workload
- A team player yet able to work on your own initiative
- Ability to rapidly learn new software and systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel in UK and Ireland
