Our client is a highly successful, multi-site, integrated agency that is very highly regarded and boasts a client base that many London agencies would envy; made up of many global blue-chip’s, FMCG brand owners and multiple retailers. They work hard to promote a commercial culture that supports a loyal & dynamic team that has access to significant opportunities and it’s this team’s prowess that has facilitated growth that many of their peers simply cannot match. They are currently seeking a Planning Director that will oversee an array of campaign activity on a major blue-chip account in West Yorkshire.
This is a high profile strategic role where you’ll be responsible for planning TTL activity across the calendar year; working cross-functionally to prioritise agency workflow at all levels and liaising with key client stakeholders & suppliers to ensure water-tight delivery and execution at all times. Another key focus of the role will be monitoring Instore and competitor activity and you’ll be required to travel fairly extensively to plan, assess & enhance campaign effectiveness and work with client and internal account teams in both Yorkshire and London. This is a multi-faceted role that’s intrinsic to the successful running of this instantly recognisable account.
As you are probably aware, this role will not suit your average agency senior account handler or planning professional. The successful candidate must have an integrated agency background (likely as an Account Director, Planning Director, Campaign Manager or Senior Account Manager etc.) and will possess excellent planning, organisational and influencing skills; coupled with a strategic mind, the ability to travel and good commercial acumen. Essentially; we’re looking for an ambitious, very organised, senior integrated agency professional that can work with the account teams to ensure that campaign activity on this major account runs like clockwork.
If you feel that you have the right skill set and are looking for a challenging new career opportunity with huge potential, send your CV via The Drum website or contact Progressive Resourcing Ltd on 0870 042 1976 for a confidential discussion and more detailed information on the role.
Our client is an equal opportunities employer and only applications from candidates authorised to work in the UK will be accepted.
