This role is with a very large, very successful and well regarded financial institution that have been a staple of the B2B sector for decades. They are now developing their offering into new markets and have some outstanding products and services for which they are looking to raise the profile – this is where you come in! As Corporate Communications Manager you will have a very diverse position which will include but not be limited to writing press releases, features, managing media relations. You will be dealing with internal clients to promote many of their key brands and being responsible for all external corporate communications, but will also encompass internal communications (a bi-monthly magazine and project work), support for the investor relations team and working alongside an external lobbying agency.
The key requirements for undertaking this role, aside demonstrable experience within the corporate communications field are flexibility and adaptability within your role as you will covering b2b and b2c work and will often find yourself working on campaigns in both areas simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a financial services background however strong media relations gained from either in-house or agency would be considered, and internal comms knowledge would also be beneficial.
