As an Account Manager in our Oilseeds Division, you will be working for a market leader in the field of Bulk Oils, Food Service Oils and Bakery products which excels in market knowledge, worldwide sales/trading and technical resources.
You will drive sales volumes, margins, and commercial relations in our continually expanding business, growing our portfolio of accounts. Your commercial acumen will highlight and hone in on new areas of business expansion in conjunction with developing new concepts with our technical arm, fulfilling our customers' desires in product development.
There will be a requirement to analyse market trends in the Oils & Fats Industry and exploit commercial opportunities to grow sales volumes in new and existing markets. The Account Manager will also manage existing key accounts, meeting business objectives by, Account, by Product, and by Marketing activity.
Commercially astute, you will have a minimum of 3 years proven success in B2B sales within the food industry, selling to Wholesale and/or Food Manufacturer customers.
The ability to enhance and grow our customer base is a must, which will be demonstrable via your exposure to Product Development, Marketing and Brand Management and your knowledge of our market. Additionally, we expect applicants to have a business, marketing or food science degree. Gaining credibility and respect from customers from the outset is vital, which you will achieve via your outstanding interpersonal, negotiating and persuasion skills. This will compliment your organizational and planning skills.
Although based in Kent/London, flexibility is necessary as the role requires the mobility to visit customers throughout the UK, to meet ever changing business demands.
